Day 4
Sorry for no updates for three days. We have been without a internet connection.
So, day 4. The first of two back to back centuries. Pretty flat, some rolling hills but not too bad.
We stumbled on a parade in one town we passed through and once we reached the sea we passed a giant statue of a monk.
The onsen we ended up in was very small and no soap was provided. We got in kind of late (about 6:30) and after we cleaned up at the onsen we headed to our campsite. On the way we passed a river where on the other side there was a stage set up and there was a free kabuki theater being held. We stayed and watched. We finally made our way back to the sea to the beach to camp. Great nights sleep, drifted off to the sounds o the waves.
